Hope Sivori has the heart of a champion. One of the most passionate and competitive players around, her success has been in large part due to her sheer refusal to lose. As a point guard, she's helped lead Mercy to two consecutive 6th Region Championships and a 2018 KHSAA Sweet 16 finals appearance. She has a propensity for making big shots in big moments, making her one of the most entertaining players to watch. When the Kentucky Junior All Star team was announced, it was no surprise that Sivori was on it.
In the first game against the Indiana Junior All Stars, Sivori looked right at home playing in her gym at Mercy. She shot 50.0% from the field, totaling 13 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists. She went on to average 11.7 points and 3.0 rebounds throughout the three game series. Her court vision and ability to make incredible passes has drawn interest from coaches at various levels. As she finishes the travel ball season with the Nike Lady Gym Rats, Sivori's recruiting profile is sure to blow up.
With her senior season around the corner, Sivori plans to enjoy and embrace every moment. As time has flown by, her many accomplishments have piled up along with it. But Sivori's high school career is not done yet, and we'll just have to wait and see how she dazzles us next.
